Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree and SU Clinical Laboratory Supervisor required. National Certification (ASCP, NCA or equivalent) preferred. 5 years of experience required. License in section (s) supervision. 

This position will require for you to drive to Miami Dade up to Palm Beach.

Job Description:

Responsible for the technical oversight and operations of all College of American Pathologist (CAP) or COLA accredited outpatient Laboratories throughout the designated Baptist Health South Florida territory. Primarily responsible in ensuring that all the laboratories obtain and maintain the accreditation through bi-annual site inspections, periodic proficiency testing (PT), and annual self evaluations from CAP, COLA, AHCA and TJC. Works very closely with the respective Laboratory Pathologists in ensuring that the same standards are kept throughout all designated outpatient laboratories. Responsible for implementing, maintaining and ensuring that the quality standards, quality control, quality assurance program, maintenance, new instrumentation for start up sites, writing/maintaining operating polices & procedures are achieved in a timely manner. Works closely with the site leadership team during the performance evaluation process for new and existing personnel and responsible for competency assessment and educational in-services as required.
