Job Requirements:


Must fulfill one of these requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or other life science with completion of at least a 12-month training program in Medical Technology. 

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical or biological science from an accredited college or university and one year training and/or experience in the specialty in which testing is to be performed. Such training must be equivalent to that received in a school of Medical Technology. 

• Associate’s degree in medical laboratory testing. 

• Completion of an Accredited Clinical Laboratory Training Program or 1 year documented laboratory training or experience in the specialty that testing is to be performed (along with 90 semester hours from an (accredited institution) that include: 16 hours of biology pertinent to the medical sciences and 16 hours of chemistry with 6 hours of Inorganic Chemistry and 3 hours of math.


• Minimum of 5 years external clinical laboratory testing experience.

Currently hiring Medical Technologist II (MTs and MLTs) for a variety of bench and non-bench positions 

Multiple Shifts Available

We are currently seeking Medical Technologists at our Central Laboratory in Indianapolis, IN for the following areas: hematology, genomics, microbiology, flow cytometry, automated chemistry 

As a Medical Technologist II, you may perform the duties of a Technologist I in addition to the following job duties: 

• Quality Control Monitoring Programs 
• Complete timely review of new or revised SOPs circulated for peer review 
• Proficiency Testing Survey Samples 
• Assists with training new employees and follows-up to ensure training is understood 
• Instrument/Equipment/Assay Validation 
• Assist staff by providing technical guidance where needed 
• Individuals that qualify as supervisory personnel under regulations/standards applicable to the facility (e.g., New York State, CLIA, CAP) may perform periodic review and approval of quality control program records (e.g. quality control data, instrument logs, reagent logs). The SOPs applicable to the department should be consulted to determine records that can be reviewed and approved.
