About Brownwood Regional Medical Center:
BRMC has been providing healthcare to our community and surrounding service areas for over 40 years. Our facility is a 188-bed facility that provides essential healthcare. BRMC is located in Brownwood, Texas on the northern edge of the Hill country and is centrally located between Abilene, San Angelo, Fort Worth/Dallas, and Austin.

The BRMC Laboratory Department is accredited by the Joint Commission and maintains standards of CLIA, Joint Commission, and the American Association of Blood Banks.  Our services include all laboratory disciplines.
The Laboratory boasts state of the art equipment.  Most instrumentation is interfaced with the HMS Information Management System, and this information flows to the patient’s record.  The Transfusion medicine department issues around 2,000 components, annually, and performs most antibody identifications in house.  We work very closely with Nursing, the Medical Staff, and Administration, and value communication as a tool to provide the best services and diagnostic testing possible.

About the position:
This is a full-time generalist position working day shift.   All day shift technologists rotate every other weekend after training is completed, which gives each person a day off each week when the lab is staffed.  Hours are typically 6:00 am until 2:30 pm.   All technologists in our laboratory aid phlebotomists when needed.
