Assistant Laboratory Manager (Specimen Logistics)

Responsibilities Include:

Plan, organize and direct the day to day operations; optimize workflow; ensure quality service; meet the needs of clinicians and patients
Oversee all processes related to specimens sent out to reference laboratories
Lead workflow development and enhancement
Develop and write standard operating procedures, develop training exercises and maintain staff competence

Qualifications Include:

Bachelors’ degree (Biology, Chemistry or Clinical Laboratory Sciences)
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience (including at least 2 years supervisory background)
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License; ASCP certification preferred
