Desired: Masters Degree Technical/Formal Training Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities Ability to influence, motivate, manage, train, direct, counsel and develop staff; communication and positive employee relation skills; knowledge of regulatory standards for compliance Proven track record of improving physician, employee and patient satisfaction scores. Experience Five (5) years Cath Lab clinical experience of which three (3) years must have been in a management capacity. Job Description:

Responsible for planning, directing, leading and evaluating the care provided by the Cardiac Catheterization/EP Laboratory. Collaborates closely with the Catheterization Laboratory Medical Director, and the Cardiovascular Service Line Clinical Medical Leaders. Develops, goals, policies, procedures; prepares and submits the operating and capital expenditure budgets for the department. Participates in CQI and performance improvement activities. Interacts closely with other facility staff and department heads to ensure safe, quality patient care is provided in accordance with corporate, facility and departmental standards. Participates on committees as assigned, including but not limited to: STEMI, Cardiovascular Service Line committees, and Department of Cardiology. Participates in direct patient care as needed. 1) Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal and personnel activities for the Catheterization/EP Laboratory in accordance with established regulatory agencies. 2) Manages clinical operations and development for the Cath/EP with measurable improvements in clinical outcomes and customer patient satisfaction. 3) Represents the organization and/or department at various community and/or business meetings; promotes existing or new services throughout the primary and secondary service area; serves as liaison and develops and maintains business relationships. 4) Implements staff and program development/maintenance of high performance standards, good communications and positive employee relations and assures departmental staffing levels meet needs of organizational goals. 5) Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested. Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”. 6) Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. 7) Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”. 8) Meets Budget (Operating & Capital) for assigned areas. 9) Mentors, coaches, develop subordinates to accomplish goals. 10) Develops policies, processes, strategies and goals that support Department/Corporation direction. 11) Collaborates closely with the heart Hospital Administrator, the Cath Lab Medical Director and the Cardiovascular Service Line Clinical Medical Leaders related to operational matters. 12) Is an active member of various Cardiovascular Service Line Committees and workgroups including, but not limited to: STEMI, Invasive and Interventional, EP, Cardiology, Vascular, and Business Outreach. 13) Works with the STEMI/AFIB Coordinator to obtain/ensure Mission Lifeline Certification. 14) Participates in direct patient care as required. 15) Forecast equipment needs on both a daily basis and for capital planning in collaboration with staff, physicians, peers and leadership. 16) Creates an environment conducive to professional staff growth to promote recruitment, retention and quality patient care.
