Requirements Include:
• MLT or MT (ASCP) or equivalent;
• Proven advanced technical and critical thinking skills;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills;
• Problem solve in real time, deal with customer concerns/complaints in a professional and compassionate manner; and
• handle high-pressure situations, including ability to perform technical duties under pressure.

Preferences Include:
• Three (3) years Clinical Lab, LIS and POCT experience.

Other/Physical Demands:
• Acuity in the five senses sufficient to perform required duties;
• Ability to perform various tasks requiring skillful manual dexterity;
• Able to move about freely and communicate well with hospital staff, patients, and visitors; and
• Able to lift reagent packs, carboys and supply boxes up to 50 pounds.

Do you enjoy being challenged and working within a team environment that promotes individual professional growth?  If you answered "Yes", we would like to talk to you about our rewarding Medical Lab Scientist opportunity!  In this position, while working in our automated, technology forward laboratory, you will ensure that all technical aspects of assigned section(s) are effectively performed in order to achieve departmental and organizational goals.  You will be responsible for procedures on various patient specimens giving careful attention to safety, quality assurance and procedural guidelines including documentation of results.  Working closely with the LIS Administrator for data management; assisting Director with QA, PI, regulatory and other duties are all necessary for the smooth operation of the department.
